What You Can Do at Home
*Ask your child what they are learning in music. Have them teach you a song or dance we have been working on during class. They will love the chance to be the teacher for once!
*Share your musical background with them...what music do you enjoy? do you perform? what is your family's musical culture?, etc
*Listen to music of all genres at home with your child and discuss it.
*Support live music! Take your children to a variety of musical events and performances. Ask them if they are interested in playing any instruments!
